About us

The Yasoka Kwagalwa Children Foundation is a beacon of hope for vulnerable children in the community, offering a range of services designed to transform lives through education. Established with a mission to break the cycle of poverty, the foundation provides free, inclusive education to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, including orphans, street children and those from marginalized communities.

At the heart of Yasoka Kwagalwa’s work is its Inclusive Education Program, which ensures that every child, regardless of ability or circumstance, has access to quality learning. The foundation’s school will offer a safe and nurturing environment where children will be taught by skilled educators trained in inclusive practices. These educators will adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of all students, ensuring that no child is left behind.

In addition to education, Yasoka Kwagalwa will provide spiritual teachings to the children to ensure they have a core Christian foundation and a good nutritional support to the children. Recognizing that many children in the community face food insecurity, the foundation will run a daily meal program, ensuring that students receive balanced meals. Proper nutrition is key to a child’s ability to learn and grow, and this program will make a significant impact on the students’ well-being and academic performance.

The foundation also offers psychosocial support and counseling services to children who have experienced trauma, abuse, or loss. With a dedicated team of counselors, Yasoka Kwagalwa will ensure that students receive the emotional, mental and spiritual support they need to heal and thrive. This holistic approach acknowledges that education alone is not enough; children must also be supported emotionally, spiritually and mentally to reach their full potential.

Another vital service provided by Yasoka Kwagalwa is the Community Outreach Program. This initiative works to raise awareness about the importance of inclusive education and child rights. The foundation collaborates with local leaders, parents, and other stakeholders to advocate for policies that support vulnerable children, ensuring that they are not marginalized or forgotten by society. Through these efforts, the Yasoka Kwagalwa Children Foundation is not only educating children but also empowering them to build brighter futures. The foundation believes in the power of education to uplift entire communities, and by investing in its children, it is planting seeds of hope for generations to come.

PARTNER WITH US

The Yasoka Kwagalwa Children Foundation has embarked on a bold and transformative mission—a campaign to raise funds to build a Primary boarding school that will offer Free education to vulnerable children. This initiative is a response to the growing number of children in the community and the country at large who face significant barriers to accessing education, including distance, lack of financial resources, and unstable home environments.

The envisioned primary boarding school will serve as a safe haven where children can not only learn but also live in a secure and supportive environment. By providing free education and accommodation, the school will remove the obstacles that prevent many children, especially orphans and those from low-income families, from attending school regularly. For children who live far from any formal school, this facility will be a life-changing opportunity.

To turn this vision into reality, Yasoka Kwagalwa has launched a fundraising campaign. The foundation is calling upon well-wishers, prayer warriors, partners, and the community at large to come together in support of this project. Every donation, whether big or small, will go toward the construction of the school’s infrastructure, including classrooms, dormitories, chapel, dining facilities, and play areas. Funds will also help provide essential learning materials, teacher salaries, and resources to sustain the school once it opens. Building this school, Yasoka Kwagalwa Children Foundation aims to create a lasting impact—one that will ensure that “every child, regardless of background”, has the opportunity to receive a quality education and a chance to rewrite their future. The foundation’s motto, “Loved first” stands at the heart of this campaign, and with the support of donors, this dream is within reach.

Where we are

Yasoka Kwagalwa children foundation limited is a registered organization with the Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB), a registered non-government organization (NGO) with the National Bureau of NGOs. Through the generosity of friends and the continued prayers and petition to the Lord, as of right now, Yasoka Kwagalwa is a proud owner of 21 acres of land located in Nakasongola district in Uganda. The plan is to build the school on one side as the funds and donations will allow and use the other part for farming and agriculture. With our mission remaining the same: strive to offer a good quality education to the children, a good Christian foundation, the best co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and a convenient environment for their healthy growth. We continue to see the mighty hand of the Lord working on this journey.

Please join us in our mission to bring hope, joy and happiness to the children in need. Together we can make a huge difference in the world and a great impact to these children.
